CO-FOUNDER

Tim Savell is a versatile expert in the situations and opportunities that arise in the Australasian not-for-profit sector, with 17 years of experience leading national and regional organisations. From 2008 to 2015 he was the CEO of Speedway NZ before stepping across the Tasman as General Manager of Speedway Australia from 2015 – 2021. The last four years have been spent as the CEO of RACE, who own and operate two of the six metropolitan racecourses in New Zealand. He has also honed his governance skills by serving three terms as a Director of Speedway NZ (2018-2024) and is a newly elected member of their national Appeal Panel.

CO-FOUNDER

James Hadley has been involved in sport all his life, with early stints as a successful motorsport competitor and national series organiser. After two years as promoter at Wellington Speedway he was appointed as a Sport Development Officer for Speedway Australia in 2016, a position he held until 2021. Key tasks included the rollout of a national junior development programme, the launch of the Australian Speedway Awards and leading the Covid 19 response. He also owned and operated NZ Dirt Track Racing magazine. In 2021 he relocated to New Zealand to become the Chief Operating Officer of KartSport NZ before being promoted to CEO.
