Tim Savell
CO-FOUNDER
Tim Savell has a lifetime in the sport, including successful stints as the CEO of Speedway NZ (2008-2015) and General Manager of Speedway Australia (2015 – 2021). He also honed his governance skills by serving three terms as a Director of Speedway NZ, and is a newly elected member of their national Appeal Panel. All up Tim has 17 years of not-for-profit experience, and prior to that worked in the corporate world in both Australia and New Zealand and obtained a bachelor’s degree in financial economics. In his spare time he has written about speedway for over 30 years, including the publishing of two books.

James Hadley
CO-FOUNDER
James Hadley has been involved in speedway all his life, with early stints as a successful Minisprint competitor and national series organiser. After two years as promoter at Wellington Speedway he was appointed as a Sport Development Officer for Speedway Australia in 2016, a position he held until 2021. Key tasks included the rollout of a national junior development programme, the launch of the Australian Speedway Awards and leading the Covid 19 response. He also owned and operated NZ Dirt Track Racing magazine. In 2021 he relocated to New Zealand to become the Chief Operating Officer of KartSport NZ before being promoted to CEO.
